MALIC WHITE is a Chicago-based stand up comedian, writer, and actor. Most recently, Malic was the winner of One Liner Madness at the Hideout. Malic’s comedy has been featured at Butterboy (New York, NY), the International Lady Laughs Comedy Festival (Madison, WI), the Chicago Women's Funny Festival, Laugh Factory, Comedy Bar, the Green Mill, Zanies, Second City, Annoyance, iO, and every nasty bar in the Midwest. Malic is a former ensemble member at the Neo-Futurist Theater, where Malic made weird art from 2012 to 2019.
As an actor, Malic starred in Princess Cyd (dir. Stephen Cone), which was named one of the best films of 2017 by Vanity Fair, and appeared in Signature Move (dir. Jennifer Reeder), How Is This the World (dir. Sadie Rogers), and Commodity/Fetish (dir. Spencer Parsons), which was featured at the Chicago International Film Festival.
Malic has written for BitchMedia and Windy City Times. Sometimes Malic gets paid to write sex toy reviews.
Malic regularly teaches writing for performance at the Neo-Futurist Theater. Other teaching credits include the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, DePaul University, the University of Michigan, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and Victory Gardens Theater.
